This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of Flairspot's platform, services, and tools by all users, including community creators and members. By accessing or using Flairspot, you agree to comply with this policy.
Violations of this AUP may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our sole discretion.
1. Overview
Flairspot is a platform for creators to build and monetise paid communities. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and lawful environment for all users. This policy defines what is and is not permitted on our platform.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not create, upload, share, or distribute content that:
2.1 Is Illegal or Harmful
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Promotes, glorifies, or facilitates illegal activities
- Contains or distributes malware, spyware, or other malicious code
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of others (copyright, trademark, patents)
2.2 Is Sexually Explicit
- Contains pornography or sexually explicit material
- Sexualises minors in any form — this is strictly prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement
2.3 Promotes Hatred or Violence
- Promotes or incites hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Contains threats of violence or harm against individuals or groups
- Glorifies or encourages self-harm or suicide
2.4 Is Deceptive or Fraudulent
- Impersonates any person, organisation, or brand
- Contains false or misleading claims about products, services, or affiliations
- Constitutes spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communications
- Engages in pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing without disclosure, or other deceptive business practices
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Flairspot to:
3.1 Harm Other Users
- Harass, bully, intimidate, or stalk any user
- Dox (publish private information about others without consent)
- Engage in coordinated attacks or pile-ons against individuals
3.2 Abuse the Platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts
- Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the performance of our services
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without authorisation
- Use bots or automated tools to interact with the platform in ways that violate these terms
3.3 Exploit Payment Systems
- Charge members for content or services you do not intend to deliver
- Process fraudulent transactions or use stolen payment information
- Attempt to circumvent Flairspot's payment infrastructure
3.4 Violate Privacy
- Collect or process personal data of other users without their consent
- Record or publish private conversations without all parties' consent
- Share another person's private information, images, or communications without permission
4. Creator Responsibilities
Creators who operate paid communities on Flairspot are additionally responsible for:
- Accurately describing their community, content, and any paid offerings
- Delivering the value they promise to paying members
- Moderating their communities in compliance with this AUP
- Not using Flairspot communities to promote off-platform services that violate this policy
- Ensuring any guest speakers, co-creators, or collaborators also comply with this AUP
Creators are liable for content posted within their communities if they have knowledge of violations and fail to act.
5. Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of the content you create on Flairspot
- You must only post content you own or have the right to share
- Do not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from other users' content without their permission
- Flairspot will respond to valid DMCA takedown notices in accordance with applicable law
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this AUP, please report it via the in-platform reporting tools or by contacting us at trust@flairspot.com.
We review all reports and take appropriate action, though we cannot always disclose the outcome of specific reports.
7. Enforcement
Flairspot reserves the right to:
- Remove any content that violates this AUP
- Issue warnings, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts
- Report unlawful conduct to appropriate law enforcement authorities
- Cooperate with legal investigations as required
Enforcement decisions are at our sole discretion. We do not guarantee uniform enforcement across all cases.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Flairspot after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
